Online Scrabble and Chess. ?

Is there a website with no viruses where you can play online chess and scrabble against other players and keeps a ranking and what not??? cuz ive been searching and i cant find one. I remeber there was one called www.play-games.com from 4 years back but that site is no longer here. |||Pogo.com!!!! Its amazing. |||yahoo games|||www.flyordie.com|||If you are even slightly serious about scrabble then you should check out the Internet Scrabble Club

The site gets the green light from McAffee Site Advisor.|||And check out the Internet Chess Club, while you are at it. The subscription is pretty low, and its half price for students, and you can get a week's free trial or you can play as a guest for nothing (but guests don't get rated).

ICC is at http://www.chessclub.com

It runs tournaments at a wide variety of time controls (either with Fischer timings or "all moves in x minutes", as you prefer), you get an instant rating when the game is over and indeed are advised what a win, draw or loss, against this opponent, will do to your rating before you start to play.

Many of the tournaments they run are ratings-limited, e.g. Under 1800 or Under-1500, just like chess congresses are. But you can just play individual games against individual opponents, if you don't like tournaments or haven't the time needed to take part in one.

ICC has 30,000 members so you can be sure to get a game against someone of your own strength, whenever you log on, which is not something you can say about every chess website.

And you can watch grandmasters play blitz against one another (they usually play a series of 3 0 games). ICC is the website that most titled players belong to. Indeed I was recommended to join it, by GM Aaron Summerscale, when we coached in the same schools as one another and got chatting. Best thing I ever did.
